May Podcast Recap

1st Episode: This Month did not have a 1st episode with me because my 4th little girl, June was born! Forgive me, but I had to snuggle up and heal 🙂

2nd Episode: We’re All In This Together with Mckell Smith

“We’re all experiencing similar things. We all have those feelings of doubt, we all have those insecurities, those nights that you stay up and worry… People just don’t talk about it as much as we should, or maybe that we could.” Mckell Smith from @theravnetwork

This is definitely an episode every Waiting Warrior should listen to because we talk about one of the biggest problems we all face: feeling alone.

Whether we feel alone because our loved one is gone or because it seems like we are the only one struggling with different aspects of the job, we aren’t alone.

I hope you have friends near you that help you realize and feel part of a community. If you don’t, I really hope you can feel that here.

3rd Episode: Creating Tools For Yourself with Bernadette Soler

“Just because my husband’s gone doesn’t mean I don’t deserve to be fully taken care of as I would take care of the two of us if he was here.” -Bernadette Soler @bernadette_soler

Military life will rock even the most solid of people, even the people who’s profession are all about peace and being calm. Yoga instructor Bernadette experienced the rock in a big way when she became a military spouse and was able to turn to Yoga to create mantra and practices that were specific for what life was throwing her.
